ALDA Chicago Booth at Oak Park: A Day in Our Village Festival

On Sunday, June 2nd, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., there is an annual event in Oak Park called A Day in Our Village. It is a lot more than information about Oak Park. There is entertainment, food, lots of fun things for young kids, and information booths about various organizations. One of the Olympic size pools will be open and tours will be given of Ernest Hemingway's boyhood home; the Hemingway and Frank Lloyd Wright museums are also open. ALDA Chicago and other groups for people all over Chicagoland are represented. The ALDA Chicago board is having our board meeting in the library that morning as well. So, not only is this an opportunity to enjoy a day outside but you can meet and talk with the board members at our table. We'd love to have you share your ideas with us!
