Sarah Wegley, an ALDA Chicago member and Communication Studies student at Governors State University, will present an interactive workshop on how to communicate effectively with adults who have hearing loss.

The aim of the workshop is to raise awareness of the deaf/hard of hearing experience and provide practical communication tips. This free event is targeted towards family and friends of adults with hearing loss, but all who are interested in the subject are invited to attend. CART captioning will be provided to make it accessible to everyone. The church facility is wheelchair accessible as well.

Light refreshments will be served after the workshop.

Amazing Love Church is located behind the Frankfort Public Library. The library is at a stoplight on Lincoln Highway (Route 30) east of where LaGrange Rd (Route 45) intersects with Lincoln Highway.

Advance registration is requested so enough participant materials can be prepared.

If you have any questions, please contact Sarah Wegley at skwegley@gmail.com.
